First, I'm gonna gut my upstairs neighbour... you have to be LOUD for it to penetrate down to my apartment, but DAMN!

Second, I think I'll gut Bush while I'm at it. I just read this in [livejournal.com profile] lerefuge's journal...

http://www.alternet.org/envirohealth/19045/

That's just... sick. I do hope parents are capable of teaching their kids this when the public health system fails in such a big way. And I know, a lot of adults aren't aware of this shit either... Dude, it sounds like April's Fool, but it isn't... how scary is that?

You know what the lack of fanfare for this shit reminds me of?

It reminds me of literally millions of women marching for women's rights and getting no press coverage.

I AM SCREAMING REALLY LOUDLY AND APPARENTLY NOBODY CAN HEAR ME.

Do I even exist? Do any of us? Am I that irrelevant?

Wow.. yeah that's seriously messed up.

I hate that he doesn't see that there are two ways of doing things. Why not have an abstinance program AND safe-sex program. That gives people options and ways and reasons for both. So those that deside that's for them, have education, and those that deside they don't want to wait til their married, have options and education also.

I hate Bush. He needs to get out of office. I can't wait til November. I seriously hope Kerry wins....

*Sighs*

I'd almost say anything or anyone would be better than Bush, but as strange as it may seem, there are probably those who are worse. Seriously, I don't know what to do if he's elected again -- I mean, I'm halfway around the world, but I don't feel safe knowing that a country like the USA has a man like that in charge.

This latest insanity... I mean, had it been April 1st, I wouldn't have believed it but it seems to be for real and I feel so bad for the American people. And I don't just see it as a problem for the USA. What if someone who doesn't know anything about the danger of AIDS, travels outside the USA and gives the disease to someone else? Or gets the disease because he/she doesn't know of the dangers? Does Bush really see this as a US issue only? If I didn't hate the man before, I surely do now.

Exactly. It should only ever mix when politics work for bettering the health system. I can't get it into my mind that someone would do something like this. I mean, if our government pulled something like this, we'd have a freakin' riot O_o and they'd be asked to see a shrink just to make sure they hadn't lost their minds.

He's an ass. Glad I didn't vote for him, but I was in Alabama so my vote didn't really matter.

But yeah.. I SERIOUSLY hope he's not elected again. Though the nice thing about it, is yeah he's the prez, but there are other people that can say "DONT" do THAT!" and he coudln't do anythingabout it. So it's not like he can bomb a country without congress to agree... though I dunno how he got stuff in the middle east.. mostly cause he never "Declared war" which is something congress has to do.. *shrug*

I think a lot of people are upset with him so hopefully he'll get knocked off. His Daddy was.. it's time for him to follow in that.

Like father like son?
Oh yeah -- I can get behind that *g*

No, hopefully there ARE people who'll step up to him and stop the worst stuff, but it still hurts to read what goes on on your side of the 'pond'
