No pheasant? They're pretty ordinary around here. I've rarely seen the females, though. The males are just easier to spot *g* -- I've had many a scare as a kid, walking through grassy fields. Sometimes they take off JUST before you step on them, and they make this really loud 'squawk' noise *g*

And yes, of course the statue has to be big. Can't settle for anything less really. Although, technically we should have Odin around here as well, since Odense is named after him.
