A rather good end to an otherwise dumb day
Well, dumb and dumb, it's been hectic at work, I think I might have a cold or the flu's gonna be knocking on my door any day now. My brain feels scattered, but otherwise, I'm ok.
Went to see Prince Jam tonight -- after a delay of around 1 hour, they finally got started and it was worth it all (even with all the people there and the smoke). Wow *g*
And A, whom I was there with, well, we had a nice time, chatting about this and that. And as always we joked around about her studies, (marketing economist) See, she tells me again, 'There are wants and needs...' and then she starts grinning -- 'I have wants and I have needs and one of those needs is Spike (she adores him *g*). Then we talked smallville (big surprise, she's got this thing for bald men...) And I ponder for a while... 'A, you know you said there were wants and needs, right?'
'yeah?'
'I think you should add a category next time you talk to your teacher. 'Wants, needs -- and gotta-haves'
'go on,' she says - encouraging me *g*
'Well, you talk about the usual wants and needs and then you tell him about the *gotta-have* category'
'Which holds?'
'Well, things like Spike, Lex, Lex's Porsches...'
'And Dolche Gabana shoes'
I grinned: 'And D&G shoes - you know - you should marry Lex, that'd get you the cars AND the money for the shoes.'
She wonders about it for a moment with this odd grin on her face. 'So, the perfect scenario would be: Marry Lex, have Spike as a lover - drive Lex's cars and spend his money'
'And there's the sex too - with a gorgeous bald guy'
Her grin widens and goes to silly 'Oh yeah - man, I'm gonna have sweeeet dreams tonight'

As for Cherry, well, I hope to be able to work on it this weekend, but then again, real life has a habit of intruding >_<
