Running update on fics *sigh*

Hammock-fic is finished *g* -- well, sort of, since I got it back from one beta. Still waiting for the second one.

And I've realized I'm spoiled rotten, when it comes to betas (you guys know who you are, and why you put up with me, only you know). I now have a list of things I should warn people of before letting them beta my stories.

1. I'm a Dane, which means I use commas CONSTANTLY *g* -- just ask Amy -- she hits me over the head with a bag full of unnecessary commas... my unnecessary commas... when she betas for me -- it hurts, it's pretty heavy ^_~

2. I have, at the moment, an insane urge to use Brit language, Brit phrasing, and above all, Brit spelling... which seems to annoy the crap out of American betas... (Bwahahaha -- maybe I just have a subconscious need to drive them out of their minds?)

Oh, and the AU is coming along just fine... I've currently got Jack in the tub and Daniel in nothing but jeans *sigh*

Ooookay, gonna drool over some pics for a couple of minutes, and then it's back to the AU *g*

Fic yay! I'm so looking forward to it! Oh, main reason I'm commenting is just before I went out of town, I saw that you had done a picture and wanted to comment but didn't have time. I totally drooled over the picture! Yum!

:D

thanks!

hehee, you're addicted to fic (glad to hear I'm not the only one *g*) -- oh, and thanks on the picture thingy *^_^* -- drool is as good as a comment (okay, that came out wrong).

And can I say something? Your icon floors me every damned time LOL -- the Colonel really doesn't do rules very well, does he? ^_~

About the comma-thing: I know exactly what you mean! I started just using the normal Danish comma grammar, but that just looked stupid, so then I stopped using commas at all which just looked even worse. Now I think I've come to a good compromise; I write the text without commas and then read it through and add them where I think they'd look good.

Maybe I should ask my mom. She's an English teacher at a business school, so she'd definetly know...

Oh yeah, no using Danish grammar *g* -- that's a BIG no-no. I can't help it, I get carried away with the commas sometimes*g*
