This simply cracked me up...
I mean, I'm not sure I'd ever consider the characters to be IN character here, but... okay, it made me giggle, snigger and laugh out loud at times, so at least I'd say it's funny. And it kept me reading all the way through even though it was more or less in the middle of the night *g*
Accommodating Daniel by Pepe
Jack snorted to himself as he hurriedly slid down inside the warm bag, then pressed himself against the hot figure of his best friend.
"Fucking SHIT!" Daniel howled in horror. "You BASTARD!"
"Told you I was cold," Jack grinned smugly. Even through about fifteen layers of clothes, including gloves and boots, Jack was still absolutely fucking FREEZING.
"You... get OFF me. Get away from me!" Daniel flapped wildly at Jack, trying to push him to the opposite side of the far-too-small bag, but Jack pursued him relentlessly, draping himself over Daniel and pressing and rubbing until their body temperatures met on an even keel.
"I'm cold," Jack announced smugly, nudging Daniel's cheek with his nose.
"I don't fucking CARE! I've already had to do this warm-up thing once and I had to do it on my OWN."
"Which should make you more understanding and willing to share your body warmth.
