Not that I'm not flattered, but... I've just gotten an invite to join a fuq-Q-Fest group -- an X-files one... I've never written or read X-files, so why on earth? Oh, and sorry, but I think I got enough of the concept alone while on the Smallville version *g*

Well i've been around fanfic a long while and that's a new one on me.

I'd encourage you to go write X-Files but you'd probably end up doing something like Krycek/Mulder...mmmm Krycek/Mulder...::shakes head:: instead of my fav ship ever Mulder/Scully ::happy sigh::

I haven't watched the show in ages and feel no motivation to write in the fandom -- so I just find the invite rather... odd *g*

right, I can see how anyone would mistake the two fandoms by the names alone.

MARTIN: With the X, I know what you are thinking. It's a marketing thing. You see, I wanted to call the show `Going to other planets' but research says that shows with X in the name get better ratings.
