Help?

I'm in need of a little help here *g*
I'm currently putting together a little bios page for stargate (slash related) -- and this is where I kinda need al ittle help *g*

at first I'm just concentrating on

• Jack
  
• Daniel
  
• Sam
  
• Teal'c
  
• Hammond
  
• Janet
  
• Anyone you can think of that I haven't gotten around to yet ^_~
  

Any comment is helpful on:

• nicknames (both from the actual show and fanfic)
  
• why the character(s) have a slashy appeal to you
  
• Pairings (just listing what pairings come to mind *g*)
  
• anything that comes to mind I should put in here?
  

I'm doing this for fun and anyone who wants to put in a word or two, well, come on, I can take anything *g* -- I'm doing this to satisfy my own curiosity as well *eg*

True, but I haven't seen more than perhaps 4 eps of season 6 yet, so I didn't think myself qualified to write up anything about him, but, by all means, contribute! *g*

jack: flyboy (duh!), jackass (haha). i can't think of anything else. (hey i've only had 5 hours of sleep)
daniel: *here we go* danny, dan (very much used in daniel/paul fics), dannyboy (grrr), anthropuppy, spacemonkey (ok, everyone knows that i know), geek, DJ. i'm sure there are more. oh yeah. peaceful explorer.
sam: can't think of anything. sammie.
teal'c: big guy, T, murray. there's another one, it's not coming back to me right now.
hammond: err hammond of texas.
janet: lol napoleonic power monger, doc, the woman with the needles (well....), i've seen Jan around too. i think.

why the character(s) have a slashy appeal to you
isn't it obvious? right, you're not going to quote me on your website, are you?
jack/daniel: well at the beginning i did not think they would make a good couple. i just thought they were close friends but then some people opened my eyes (haha). i guess it's because they're so close and seem to get along even if they're almost complete opposites. they err complement each other in a way so it *must* be more than just friendship. oh and their endless bickering makes it slashy too. to *me* anyway.

Pairings (just listing what pairings come to mind *g*)
you mean all the pairings i can think of? that would be a long list. i made a list of all the sg slash pairings i've read before once. i had to use lj cut, lol.

anything that comes to mind I should put in here?
not what i said above! i don't know, are you going to be talking about the different slash pairings?

there's another one. in french he says 'mon p'tit gars' (small guy, LOL) but the english version is different. i can't remember what episode it is, but hopefully i will after a good day's sleep.

I was thinking about making a list of the people who help out and such, but otherwise, not too much quoting, though there's nothing in the stuff you said that you should be ashamed of *g*

It will be a bio's page for each character, methinks, because there's too much to stuff into one page (I'm against looooooong pages *g*) -- I'll link to it as soon as I have the draft for it handy -- then if there are any additions, by all means, make them *g*

nah nothing to do with that. i have issues concerning anything (linked to fandoms) i say being published. i'm not sure *why*.

Jack/Daniel Why? - Those two have great on screen chemistry. I think they play off one another very well. I am sure that some people see it as friends, or an odd couple sort of relationship, I when I watch them, I see them together. It's just so natural to me.

And I think that is what I like about them, they are natural.

Sam/Janet I am just starting to read, although not as in your face as Xena/Gabrielle, they do have a great chemistry together, and I can see them finding comfort in each others arms.

Daniel/Paul - I have too, or ningyouhime will hunt me down and make me read more Daniel/Paul fics ::grin::

I think with D/P it seems very bitter sweet. I think its that overall sadness that I can't get past, and that is why I have trouble with that pairing, but there are some great fics out there, I know she can rec a few.

Both with Sam/Jan and Jack/Daniel and Daniel/Paul for that matter -- yes, more to ponder before I continue on the bios...
