ningyouhime and nevskaya I'm gonna go and list my top ten of fav Stargate eps as well...
1. Abyss (S6)
I love the set up, I couldn't deny the J/D interaction and I'm such a sucker for Jack-whumping ::hangs head in shame::, though only if Daniel's there to comfort ^_^
2. Need (S2)
MegalomaniacDaniel... need I say more? He is *scary* in this episode.
3. Absolute Power (S4)
More MegalomaniacDaniel! It's a treat, and I'm not sure who he scares the most, us or himself? Let anyone who writes Daniel as a sweet, innocent little boy re-watch this ep over and over again... then I'll dare them to write another InnocentDaniel fic...
4. 1969 (S2)
Aw, I'm just a sucker for time travel episodes *g* but it was fun seeing the team completely out of their element including the strange wardrobe of the late 60ies *g*
5. The Serpent's Lair (S2)
Duh! *g* Nah, I liked it for the action too, not just the 'spacemonkey hug'. To me it was a wonderful way to conclude season 1 and get started on season 2
6. Allegiance (S6)
Woohoo. Jack, Jacob and Bra'tac in the same episode with lots of tension between the Tok'ra, the Jaffa and the Tau'ri *g* -- These guys maybe old, but anyone who knows me knows I have a thing for older guys *g* -- The one ep that has made me want to write Jacob/Bra'tac *eg*
So much Jack screen-time, the fear of not knowing what was trying to kill them. Mmm, my kind of episode *g*
7. Paradise Lost (S6)
Curse younevskaya!! Even *I* can see the Jack/Harry here... Seriously. I love the way those two characters are contrasts to each other, how Harry has this weird, twisted sense of honor and how Jack continues to give him a new chance, over and over and over again.
8. Small Victories (S4)
The kind of ep that has me digging my fingers into my seat, right up until the Asgard transporter kicked in and Daniel was pointing and lost for words ^_~ Loved the body language of the entire episode. Enjoyed it that Sam got to play the hero as well without having the team to rely upon. Loved the way Jack trusted Daniel to do the right thing, to for once follow an order. And I don't care ifningyouhime wants this ep for Daniel/Paul, because I KNOW Daniel will be waiting at home for his Jack ;-P
9. Fallen/Homecoming (S7)
To me this is one episode as I watched it as one. Loved of course that we got Daniel back, the acting as well. The way Daniel's body language was screaming 'don't touch me'. Which is why I don't get people complaining about Jack not hugging him in that scene. Come on, Daniel would have decked Jack if he'd tried. I adored the 'Geek Squad' as Daniel and Jonas got to have a little piece of the action as well. All in all, it was the perfect blast off to Season 7
10. Space Race (S7)
I have no idea why people didn't like this one, I had a blast watching it *g*
The J/D moments were lovely, dynamic and a blast from the past. Daniel is clearly remembering a lot more if you try to read his facial expressions everytime Jack blunders on. It reminds me of 'Between Two Fires'
Sam gets to have fun, Teal'c gets to play spy, all in all, maybe not the most original episode ever, but I'll be damned if it didn't have me laughing like a maniac.
