Can't sleep... dammit!
Same problem last night. One should think that after roughly 3 hours of sleep last night, I'd be out like a light tonight... but noooooo, of course not. ::snorts::
On the other hand, this sleep trouble means I've started re-doing the court session in Life Sure Ain't Ever Easy. I mean, come on, I spend ages building up the fic, and then I completely drop the ending by taking the easiest way out. Granted, there WILL be another, final, part of this series, but I won't allow it to be a mere fix-it for this one. So... instead of five minutes of the trial against Jack... it'll be a whole lot longer. And mind you, I almost manage to keep Jack quiet, the man ain't dumb. There's no way he'd risk it all just to be snarky. He does, however, slip a few time *g* -- or he wouldn't be Jack O'Neill.
And what does that mean? Well, the fic becomes a tad bit longer, but in my own humble opinion (and that of
carlachameleon) it seems more rounded, more... complete. I'll still leave a few things open to tie it with the final installment, but that will be on purpose and not by accident *g*
