I shouldn't... but I did *g*

Bought one DVD today and ordered another...

Bought Jim Henson's Labyrinth, which I haven't seen for years and ordered... The Story Teller

Now, anyone else remember that nine episode production from Jim Henson?

I don't remember The Story Teller, but I just had to post and say that I love Labyrinth. I was listening to the soundtrack only last night. =)

LOL
I know what you mean. The Story teller featured an old man in a comfy chair and his dog sleeping on the floor in front of the hearth. The old man, the Story Teller, would tell tales, fairy tales and such, a bit dark and a bit scary I guess *g* -- so absolutely wonderful.

I love the labyrinth too, trust me *g*

LOL
I should've known you'd know he was in it *giggles*
From what I remember, it's well worth it ^_^

I do I do!!! That was a fantastic series! I was just packing my videotapes last night and discovered that I have an ep taped. Have no idea which one, though. Am thrilled that they're on DVD - they were sooooo well done!

(sighs and wishes for a DVD player...)

*nods*
Yes, such a wonderful show.
And I couldn't believe my eyes this morning when I got one of the news-mails from my local DVD store, telling me I could pre-order it ^_^

I hope you get a DVD player soon and that you get your hands on the Story Teller. Such sweet childhood memories...

I've loved it since I watched it for the first time in the late 80s. And trust me, if you like that one, you'd love the Story Teller *g*

And the Labyrinth? Yes, magnificent soundtrack ^_^

Hmm, just like this, I remember John Hurt and Sean Bean but it's more a series of nine episodes. Every ep would open with John Hurt as the story teller, sitting in his chair with his dog by his side. He'd tell a story of adventure and the dog would occasionally give it's opinion as well... the dog being very cynical *g* -- but the stories were wonderful anda bit dark. Giants, demons and such ^_^

sounds like fun, will have to be on the look out for that one :)
