He was here last weekend for a protest in Harrisburg, and I was quite amused to see that the majority of his followers are actually his family members--he has something like 13 children with (I believe) more than one wife.
My school Allies group is actually trying to get him to come speak on our (religiously-affiliated) campus. Our advisor's theory is that the man is a such a brilliant parody of himself that he's impossible to take seriously.
And the worst part is: He is not the only one like him out there. Unfortunately, there are many of his kind. As I commented on the linked page, he should have to suffer just as long and hard as the people he has hurt.
