nicci_mac Who has by now learned to stop me before I make too many mistakes *g*
swtalmnd Who would always call me on my mistakes especially if I ignored safe sex issues *g*
oxoniensis Who isn't even IN the SG fandom. Still, she volunteered and I can only say, I appreciated her thoroughness and her straight forward ways ^_^
nora_charles who introduced me to slash and was my first beta reader ever.

Others have alpha'ed/beta'ed/helped etc when I've needed it. Devra, Jo, Terry and others -- you guys know I appreciate it ^_^

I did try to write an SG-1 fic recently, as a birthday present, but I just didn't have a grip of the characters, or a deep enough knowledge of the show.

And you're so sweet with your comments. I'm actually often passing on things I've learnt from my betas (even if I can't always live up to the advice they give me). I guess I'm so grateful for all the help I've had, I like to make sure I help out when anyone is stuck.

Oh yeah. And by helping other, we get better at catching our own mistakes in the making *g* -- I just finished betain for nicci_mac the other night. Amazing the things you guys have helped me see I could put my finger on in her story... and actually explain WHY it needed re-phrasing or changing at all ^_^

And anytime you want a hand on the SG characters, just holler -- I'd be honored to give you a hand.

Yes, it's all really a happy circle - we all learn from each other, both in betaing and in having our stories betaed.

And thanks for the offer of SG help - I may come back to you for that. I'm concentrating on making Harry Potter my second fandom, though I also got an Artemis Fowl (you may know the books?) bunny the other day. But right now, I'm too full of Smallville love to look much elsewhere. :-)
