Rumours, lies and fairy tales
Got this from the AG list (Biblio) this morning and the first thing that hit me had me laughing like a loon
It might not be funny, but I seem to be easily amused today...
Basically, rumour has it that there will be two new characters as part of the regular cast...

signed on for the next season.
The eighth season of the series is expected to premiere in June.

They're creating a 'het' version of Jack and Daniel, aren't they?

If this new Colonel comes on and takes the reigns of SG-1 as rumored, I should hope Sam would RETIRE. After 8 frickin' years, I'd think she deserves that position more than some newbie-to-the-show Colonel.

well, knowing Peter Deluise, I don't think there'll be a shortage of slashy scenes. Besides, it'll be kinda hard if Shanks doesn't sign up for Season 8

Season 8 is far away, hon. Hell, when they were told there'd be a season 7 it was only 2 weeks before they started filming the season finale of Season 6... lots of time ^_^

I have no faith in TPTB anymore. This sounds like a friggin' Mary Sue fanfic! :(
And some part of me hopes that AT, MS and CJ doesn't sign up because then I can stop watching.

Hey, livejournal is for ups and downs, so whining is more than allowed. Angst? How can we appreciate the ups if we don't notice the downs? Trust me, I have a few private locked entries that would make you run away screaming... I take any post on my lj as a way to get to know people. And if all was happy sunshine I'd REALLY start thinking something would be wrong...
And SG? I'll take things as they come. It's a series that's survived for this long, spawned many a good episode and has a 7th season that so far has rocked -- I for one am going to enjoy it as much as I can. When change comes, I'll watch it, but I'll always return to the 'good old days' *g*

I know, it's just me being paranoid...but right now it feels like I don't care so I opened up my journal again. :)

The rest is just boring...except for my jack o'neill account where I should post all my "trying to write fics" stuff. *grins*
You're right about the ups and dowsn though...I guess I just tend to think that everyone else is happy and I'm the only one who's not. *grins*
And trust me, I WILL watch SG1 even if they marry Sam with Jack and Daniel with this new female anthropologist... *giggles*
It's just a cover up because someone is suspicious that Jack and Daniel are having sex!!
