1. A body of water, smaller than a river, contained within relatively narrow banks? Å (aa) or 'vandløb' (vandloeb) -- it's not easy when I KNOW some of those letters won't show up in your browser LOL
2. What the thing you push around the grocery store/supermarket? Indkøbsvogn (inkoebsvogn)
3. A metal container to carry a meal in? Um, mine was made of plastic, but we still call it 'madkasse'
4. The thing that you cook bacon and eggs in? Pande, stegepande
5. The piece of furniture that seats three people? Sofa
6. The device on the outside of the house that carries rain off the roof? Tagrende
7. The covered area outside a house where people sit in the evening? Terasse, veranda
8. Carbonated, sweetened, non-alcoholic beverages? Sodavand
9. A flat, round breakfast food served with syrup? Um... we don't eat that for breakfast *g*, but it's still 'pandekager'

-Oh and by the way: I too only see ? instead of ae oe and aa. -In spite of the fact that I have no trouble seeing them in the LJ of one of my other friends, who writes in danish...
