Just thought I'd share what I was watching earlier...

I capped nine pics from Starship Troopers 2. Not at all as bad a movie as I'd feared -- then again, I might've have been *just* a little disctracted... I mean... ::looks for mop and bucket to wipe up drool::

Nine caps of Mr. Burgi looking illegally edible...

Mmmm, I bought that movie, even though everyone told me it was crap, just to see RB shirtless.

I managed to download it, and although it didn't exactly surprise me plot wise, it wasn't really that bad. Besides... Richard shirtless!! Richard with Big Guns!!
I'm easily entertained...

A new DVD shop opened up and were selling scads of sci-fi films at silly prices. I went mad with the credit card and doubled my DVD collection in one day.

And which one was the first played? That's right: shirtless RB!

*also easily entertained*

When did Richard Burgi turn into Sean Connery? Hee.
Other than the beard, he looks damn fine in there. Thanks for the screencaps!

you're welcome. I actually like the beard on him, but yeah, he's giving SC some serious competition in my book *g*

I have a mop and bucket in here for JUST that risk *g*
Hey, the man may be 46, but damn! he's hot *g*

YUM!

Burgi is very lust worthy. My Dad and brother brought home a rented copy of ST2 the other day and were shocked to see me drool over a man old enough to be my father. Explanations that even college gals can appreciate a perfect adult male specimen of any age (the grey is only a bonus) fell on deaf ears. Alas.

The bare chest, gorgeous biceps, and big guns were all fantasy worthy, but a strong character with a BurgiBod captive and kneeling in the dark? Whoa Baby!

OH yeah -- the sole reason for me watching it as well *g*
and hey, what does age matter when such hotness is the key? *g*

[identity profile] arielblirup.livejournal.com 2004-08-12 08:09 am (UTC)(link)
Erm... Do you have a father complex??? *g* You always seem to be attracted to guys old enough to be your father...

Well, hurray for being different! ^_^

well, the man's only 46 and my dad's 77, so I think it's safe to say it's not a father complex *g* -- I just have good memories of the Richard Burgi -- it was always a bit weird with the Sentinel show -- everyone liked Blair (short curly haired guy) -- me? I adored Jim (Richard) Maybe because we occasionally saw him in nothing but a towel back then?

Hey! Can't a girl have some fun on behalf of her friends around here?!?! *g* Alright, I'll be nice now...
I guess I shouldn't scream too loud anyway since Johnny Depp is about 40...

Well, some people are like fine wine -- they just get better as each year passes.

Sean Connery. Nuff said.
