Hmmm, the SG awards for this year are over and somehow the results are not that much of a surprise... really. Some of the awards I agree with, some I don't. I'm still miffed that Jonah-in-the-Whale didn't win anything, nor did ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
agentotter -- hey, I'm shallow *g* -- still, there were a few who I really feel *did* rise above average and were awarded for it.
Hey, I'm shallow. This time I actually got one too *sniggers*, though not in the fanfic category. I'm just having trouble dredging up the energy to bounce around and feel good about the winners who really did deserve it (I blame it on high temperatures and humidity -- I ain't bouncing anywhere anytime soon...) -- There were good things about some of those who lost as well... ::coughs::, but eventually the voting lies with the readers and it'll always be a matter of taste whom you vote for. I actually sat down and read the fics I didn't know -- re-read the ones I'd forgotten before voting. I wonder how many simply voted for the ones they knew were popular?

Oh well -- I'm back to working on several stories at the same time. A challenge fic, which is leaning heavily toward the insane, parody, clichéd angle. Then there's the original story I'm working on and the insane x-over... and I've hatched yet another crossover bunny ... -- The x-over I'm working on is an SG/TS x-over -- it's a bit cliched, but hopefully I'll root out the worst of it when I edit it -- after I've finished the draft. The new bunny? I once vowed to never write an AU... Then I sat down and asked myself what I disliked about AUs. With that in mind I wrote one. It came out with a decent result (*g* at least if I have to say so myself ;-P) -- having thought about it -- that 'universe' I created would fit *perfectly* for a sentinel crossover -- it would actually make *sense* to cross this AU with TS ...a bunny with a nice, solid plot. So... I think I have enough plot bunnies for a while...

hey, I do love your vids -- but I'm still amazed that people like mine -- I mean, I can see clear errors in the cutting *g* -- things that I should have done differently. *g*
