The entry where I show my geekier side...
You know you're a (slash) geek when:
- You do the happy dance because your new infrared 'stick' works and your cell phone now plays the theme to Stargate SG-1 and the wallpaper is a sketch of Jack and Daniel in a tight lip-lock...
You know you needed more coffee when:
- the first thing you pull out of the envelope is a USB extension cord and go 'I didn't order THAT?' (no, the stick was underneath and the extension was meant for people who don't have a USB port on the front of the computer...) I'd like to point out, that when I ordered it it didn't say anything about an extension cord ::grins:: and since I don't need it, I didn't think about it.
You know your plot bunnies are mutating when:
- You sign up for the Slash Advent Calender and five minutes later you're writing. By the time you go to bed, you have 1,500 word and the mail with the approval of joining the list didn't come until this morning...
