"I didn't know about the presents," Nostradamus muttered.
Joshua smiled. "I know, I don't want you to give me anything."
"But you gave me this..." Nostradamus fiddled with the present. A beautiful old book of poems that Joshua knew the Fiend would love. Full of quirky strange poetry.
Much like their relationship.
"As corny as it may seem," Joshua said, "I just want you."
Nostradamus gave him an odd look, then looked at the red bow that had topped the present. Grabbing it, he grinned mischievously.
"Give me two minutes," he threw over his shoulder before disappearing into their bedroom.

Okay, you wont be at all surprised to learn that the 'obvious' place for him to tie that bow was NOT the first place I thought off.
Hmmm yeah, it would look really lovely around the tip of his tail... guh!
