A little fun time g

I got to thinking...

I'm feeling curious today and for once not just about the new people on my friendslist. See, I have a lousy memory, so I wanted to ask everyone something. (With everyone I MEAN everyone -- those of you who've been with me since the start as well *g*)

How did we 'meet'? Did I stalk you or did you stalk me? Or was it kismet? Or something...

So, tell me how we 'met' and why you're still sticking around LOL -- because I zig as much as I zag *g*

Oh, and this is a good time for the new people here to introduce themselves as well *g*

And yes, done with the first week of work at the new bookstore, and already two of my co-workers have weedled my website addy out of me *laughs* -- they liked this one a lot *grins*

Oh yeah -- which reminds me, I think I need to do a FF marathon -- my muses have been begging me for it lately *g*. There's just something about that pairing that tickles me.

I think it went something like this:
01. Found your website looking for Stargate fic.
02. Liked said Stargate fic.
03. Friended your journal.

... but that's really just a guess. I don't have much in the way of memory either.

I think we "met" when I stumbled on your Stargate SG-1 stuff? And I stick around because you write fic and post it to your LJ?

Heheh, well, guilty as charged. Even if I'm not all that active with the SG fic anymore, you guys do stick around ^_^

I have no clue. Probably you said something witty or kewl, or did you maybe write a story I liked? Or do a vid? I don't know, because we don't intersect fannishly much at the moment, but the Big Wheel O Fandom keeps turning . . .

Oh yes. I may go to this or that fandom, but the next fandom I enter, I'll likely run into people I already know *g* -- those are the joys of fandom

I lurked around your website for a couple of years for the fanfics and then actually decided to follow the link to your LJ.

And now I lurk there silently.

No clue. I never remember how I got added or when/why I added someone else. I just know its months or years down the line, and there we are.

Perhaps it was Firefly related?

I think it was earlier, since I've only recently gotten into Firefly.

Hmmm, I took a look at your info to figure out the answer. Obviously your fic is the first thing that comes to mind, since I so love your writing.

Looking at your info page I see many friends in common, so either that way or through your website.

Either way I'm glad I get to read your LJ and that you friended me.

Ah. See, we 'met' through a mutual friend of ours,

matsujo9, who, during the Christmas ficcing, pointed me in the direction of your Bobby/Remy ficlets. And I was impressed. I was mightily impressed. And so I said so.

I stick around because of the fic. You're the person who finally got me to try watching due South. Unfortunately, I haven't seen all of the episodes, but I've seen enough.

Hehehe, I seem to be guilty of dragging more than one friend into due south LOL.

I've got few x-men interested friends here, so welcome aboard.

I got referred to you by a friend, because I said I was looking for SG-1 fic. :) Then I found your sentinel fic. Then you roped me into Due South. Then Firefly. Then I read your X-men fic. Then one day, you posted you were getting bored, with no one to talk to. Now you regret it, because I virtually stalk you virtually. :)

Oh, yes. You regret it, I'm sure.

We met in Paris in the Autumn. You wore a blue dress. My shoes were too small and they pinched. I stalked you to a streetside cafe where you had me arrested then later brought me a bag of jelly beans which you had won playing polker... o wait, that was Fraser in oDDS wasnt it?

Ah well, then we must have met in Walmart which squeezing the same melons

I met you trough? your SV fandom (2002?) work. You became instantly one of my favorites writers and when I got an lj account I friended you ASAP.

After that I got hooked on? your SG-1 stories (your Daniel and Jack kills me :)) and got to know you. You are an interesting person, easy going :) respectful and funny. You absolutely get my vote for the next presidency race on your country.

That's the great thing about LJ -- it's not fandom specific, it's people specific LOL -- I'm glad you're sticking around ^_^

Well, I found you by looking up SG1 fics. I believe I e-mailed fangirlish squeeing over them a time or two under my work e-mail address. Then I discovered Due South and then LiveJournal and then that you wrote for Due South and were on Live Journal too and the rest is history. From your page I discovered a bunch of other fics that have become favorites and I have actually printed out to take with me where ever. So that's me in a NUT shell, hee he.

Oooh, was that a hint for me to update the recs again? LOL I'm just glad you're liking it all. And yes, I can't stick to just one fandom -- I have way more fun with the whole lot LOL

I... think it was NaNo. I have a horrible memory but I think it was NaNoWriMo (Although I'm a total SG-1 whore, too, so if it wasn't NaNo, it could just as easily have been that ^^;)

Oh yes, I do actually think it was the NaNo. You planning on taking part again? Heh.

Well, I started lurking around your LJ because of the usual suspects (skater and nicci). And then, you posted dS art (the exact same picture that your coworkers enjoyed so much. Nnnrrghh!) and, since then, you own a part of my soul. I really, really, really love that drawing.
