First impressions: TW - Something Borrowed

I kinda liked the episode. So sue me LOL

The tailor conversation in Jack's office? So bloody fantastic -- might explain why Ianto would claim that there had to be something wrong with the measuring tape previously -- if he's got that good an eye for measurements *g* -- and just the fact that they're browsing a catalogue on wedding dresses? So cracks me up.

Was I the only one giggling at the gun assembly in the back of the car? It was a bit like Men in Black on steroids XD

Jack to Rhys, along with a smirk and a flirt:" That whole undead thing looks pretty good on you, Rhys"

Once again we get Ianto Jones, problem solver extraordinaire. First he goes shopping for a wedding dress -- and can I just say how much I love the quirky expression of his, when the sales man goes "yes, we have a lot of men shopping wedding dresses for their ...friends." Then, because the wanker of a DJ -- he WAS a wanker, come on, goes and gets himself eaten, so in the background, Ianto's taken over the turn tables XD -- nearly missed that one. And god, all the cheesy 80s music *giggles*

Chasing scum by day and come night, we're the wedding fairies XD - Ianto, I do adore you so very much. It's such a warped version of fairytales of putting people to sleep with fairy dust. Really, we fanfic writers can't come up with more cracky ideas than the writers on the show -- which is fine by me, I love the insanity of the show *g*

I was both annoyed and amused at Tosh still pining for Owen, though. I kinda liked that he did ask her to dance in the end, you know, once all the stressful stuff was over and done with. Oh, and the shape shifter not wanting anything to do with him because he was 'off'? *grins* that was pretty hilarious, as was watching JB decked out in false teeth and huge veins. It really, really cracked me up. This you don't even get in b-rated horror movies. Like I said, love the cracktastic writing.

As a TW episode: It was good, cracky writing, insane alien chases and overnight pregnancies. *thumbs up*

As a Jack/Ianto episode: Duh! Heh, the scenes between them, the conversation about measuring, the guilty looks when Owen walks in on them, the wedding dress catalogue, the dancing and seemingly, Jack letting go of some of his past, at least that's how I see his reminiscing moment with the photos. Another piece to the puzzle. Jack Harkness actually did get married at one point. Also amused me that Jack pouts about Ianto siding more with Owen after Owen's died and Ianto's tongue in cheek reply.

So, overall, I enjoyed the episode and will probably rewatch it for details later.

I really liked the episode as well, was alot of crack ^^ and was so sweet when Owen asked Tosh to dance and Jack/Ianto dancing was totally cute ^^ and it was oddly satisfying to see Rhys punch Jack, not because I don't like Jack to death, but he kinda had it coming ;D and pouty Jack is always great :D

Heh, yeah, I did like the episode and we're not really supposed to unconditionally love the characters -- they're human and bound to have some quirks that will annoy the crap out of us.
