Where slash shouldn't go...

What's the weirdest/oddest/most disgusting/mindbending/WRONG pairing you've ever come across or can think of?

Weirdest ever? Tazmanian Devil/Bugs Bunny or possibly Winnie the Pooh/Piglet - can't quite decide

Oh, and icons to support the reply are MORE than welcome -- I'm slightly drunk, so I can handle it.

I think that the scariest pairing I've heard of is Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and the funniest was either Jack or Daniel from Stargate and a certain telepathic beagle! Bwahahaha! That was such a great fic.

I couldnt read anything involving Haggrid and anything even remotely human.

A beagle???

Someone should change that woman's meds.

Not even madame what's her name from Beauxbaton? She's at least half human, more if you ask her.
I actually like Hagrid/Snape, I've read some really sweet fics with that pairing. I can buy Hagrid thinking of Snape as a dainty little thing, with pretty long fingers like spider's legs, and Hagrid is of course the ultimate leather daddy/bear.

I don't know that the worst pairing I've ever come across is. If it squicks me, I tend to close the window and try to forget about it. (No I lie, I actually bombard the author with hatemail, and get all my crazy friends and sock puppets to do it too, and write angry letters to her ISP.)

Robbie Coltrane, who plays Hagrid is a fellow Scot, and in fact nearly ran me over once in a big pink Cadillac with bull horns on the front. I cant take him seriously at all. LOL. And trying to think of him as a leather bear? o.0 Boggles!

I once saw Hamlet performed by sock puppets. Well, one scene anyway. It was very very funny!

Robbie Coltrane? Who said anything about him, ew!
This reminds me of a discussion on one of my mailing lists. One reader said she cringed everytime she read fic with Severus where he was described as being very skinny and slimly built, because Alan Rickman has never been built like that, even when he was very young, and it just struck her as very out-of-character.

I was very surprised, since I read the novels years before them movies were made, and consider the novels canon. The movies have very little to do with my interpretation of the characters.

I also remember once on usenet, when I was in Star Trek fandom, someone referred to something in the licensed novels as being canon, but she was booed out. It was a pretty friendly environment, better than when fandom moved to mailing lists, but some topics are just hot buttons I guess. I have the impression that bookverse and movieverse Potter fans get a long better than various factions of Trekkies, though ^_^

Ah see I never really read the books. My kids did, but I just saw HP when I took them to see the movies.

I think the Bugs slash that I've run across made me want to scrub my brain more than a little. Still, it's supported in canon that he's a cross-dresser on more than one occasion, so...

Hehe, see, Nicci and I were discussing that last night as well. I love that cartoon because even two, nearly three decades after I remember seeing it for the first time? It still makes me howl with laughter.

It's probably my second favorite Warner Brothers cartoon. My first being "One Froggy Evening" with Michigan J. Frog. I have a tattoo of Michigan on my shoulder.

It's commonly known in the states that the majority of adults my age were first exposed to opera and classical music through Bugs Bunny cartoons. I'm not sure if that's sad or kinda brilliant.

Ewwwww.

I hated the SG mirror universe ones, or the doppelganger ones, or the Jack/MacGyver.

Fucking yourself literally?

I think the only universe I could buy that would be TW -- because I can see Capt Jack shagging himself -- or a version of himself. He'll shag anything with a pulse -- or rather, maybe pulse is optional. Any other fandom. Eh... no.

Well... earlier on in the series, I may have agreed with you. Now? I'm not so sure. I think (though it makes me gag to say) between Gwen and Ianto, he's whipped for the first time in his life.

I find that interesting.
