I just managed to order a new *cringes* camera.

I eh... ahem. Yeah. So, Nikon coolpix p80

I saw it today at the photo shop here in town. And I think I fell in love lust.

Nicci? The shutter speed settings etc are SO easy to active/change. *smiles her geeky smile*

Also? I'm thinking of setting a minimum word count for the year yes/no? Good idea? I have no idea and even so, I don't know at what to set the wordcount.

It wouldn't be something I would be looking at all that often, but it might be fun to do a running wordcount, just to see if I'm getting ANYTHING done XD

Heh, lust is the perfect word for this one. I shouldn't really have done it, since I'll be looking for a new mobile soon -- the old one sometimes resets itself to default settings -- and I fear I might lose some of the information on it eventually.

Still, I couldn't say no, and it seems my sister wants to buy the old one -- which is still in perfect condition.

All good then :-) Keep me posted how this one handles, will you? I was smitten with the 18x zoom - but I was wondering how well it would handle macros. I found a review site that said it was reasonably good and wondered how accurate that was. Because I still have nefarious intentions lustful thoughts interest. And now that I've heard I've got my new job, I might just go ahead in a month or two :-)

the macro on my old one is good -- but it's 4cm, this one? 1cm *g* which is the distance from object to camera lense. That's obscene XD

I'll let you guys know and if you haven't bought a new one by summer time, you can play with mine when I come over *g*

Okay, now I've wiped my chin...

You've not missed talk of new job, I just haven't posted about it, for a variety of reasons *g*. Main one being, I thought I'd missed out on it, but it turns out I didn't :-D It's not so much a new job as my current job, with different, longer, hours. Mainly daytime, for a start, and three days a week. Which is good, because my job isn't really like working at all, it's more like having fun and getting paid for it :-)
