Week 8 in pictures

Today's been fairly good. Had a nice evening with Nicci online last night and today I got around to doing a few chores -- even managed a short run.

Right, so onwards to the week in pictures

Monday
Week 8 - Monday
I finally got around to framing the two Mucha posters I bought a while back. Let's not make guesses as to when I'll actually put them up on the wall, 'kay?

Tuesday
Week 8 - Tuesday
An old money bank I've had since my first trip to London in 2000. A map of the London underground -- the Goodge St stop was the one we got on and off.

Wednesday
Week 8 - Wednesday
I so need to do some recipes from this book. It's got everything from the history of coffee to how to treat and best brew it to using it in alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and desserts. It's a fantastic book.

Thursday
Week 8 - Thursday
It's been a week from hell. I had a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink :( - my landlord took one look at it and changed not just the pipes, but the faucet as well. I can now get the thermo under it ^_^

Friday
Week 8 - Friday
Went with a friend to the Zoo. They're open till 8PM on Fridays and Saturdays until the end of February and it's fun walking around in part darkness.

Saturday
Week 8 - Saturday
One of my favorite lanterns. It's a small floor type lantern, but I kinda like having it in the window instead. The bigger model I have on the floor, of course.

Sunday
Week 8 - Sunday
I tend to do stuff for packed lunch for the coming week on Sundays and today it's a veggie tart with bacon and turkey meat. I know, it's not a veggie tart, shut up. I'm a meat eater XD

Heh, it's a nice and easy tart to do. And the zoo always delivers good pictures.

The Mucha's are lovely. I knew they were Mucha's because of the style, but I haven't seen those particular creations before.

They're called Evening Star and Morning Star and I got them off www.allposters.com -- the frames are from IKEA -- they were the only ones having the narrow type around here.

I'll be using that moneybank as a puzzle picture within the next few days (linking to the flickr version).
