Photo sharing

Hello one and all.

I feel more or less human now, having been drinking coffee, had a walk, napped and played a platform computer game for 3 hours XD

Right, I've got photos from Thursday, Friday, Saturday and today, Sunday.

[livejournal.com profile] bertybertle once asked for pictures from my way to work. Since I hardly ever walk it, but bike, I haven't had the opportunity to shoot any photos. Thursday, however, I walked from the Uni to the Mall to pick up my bike I'd left there for repairs at the bike shop. So, there are three here from the walk -- right after leaving the University, there's a small strip of trees and then fields with a small pond.

How's that one go, Nicci? Hello Mr. Magpie, where's your wife and children?

University grounds
Everything's so green now. No wonder my allergies are going nuts XD

And the small pond between the trees and the fields. If you follow along the road after the pond, you get to the swimbath.

Nicci's t-shirt arrived...
We'll look like such dorks, eh... I mean, fangirls when we go to Cardiff, huh? LOL -- and no, it's a coincidence, it's got nothing to do with TW -- it's a Danish jeans brand

Stige
You can follow a dirt road out along Odense Fjord to get to Stige where there's a fairly nice beach -- only, it takes forever to get there so we stopped around 5km out from the city centre. It was fantastic weather and the air was full of pollen XD -- still, a very enjoyable ride - [livejournal.com profile] nora_charles joined me for it and we were pretty tired when we ended the day with Indian take-away and translations that would make any sane brain bleed.

Stige Kirke
Stige Kirke -- not your typical modern church. It's red bricks which is not common for the old churches, but style wise it's kept closer to the old churches we have.

Sunday April 19th, 2009
I decided as I was going to walk to one of the supermarkets, I'd take a wee detour on the way there to 1. enjoy the weather, which was fantastic, and 2. shoot some photos. It's a lot greener than the last time I took that walk.

Thank you -- there's plenty to take photos of around here if I can get off my lazy behind *g* -- and at least now, the weather's more agreeable.

Heh, well, the magpies are everywhere around here. Funny piece of trivia. According to the Brits, one magpie is bad luck while two are good luck. One for sorrow, two for joy. In Denmark, the name translates directly into "damage".
