Argh, how annoying

Hey guys,

I've got a question for those of you who know code-fu. I've been using a php code on my website to create a posting interface for people to write feedback. It's worked well for ages, but lately I've been getting... well, not sure you can even call it spam, as that would normally mean some sort of content of the mail I get from the interface. However, I get a notification full of stuff like:

koB0tB ybeloiurkixc, ijlldjzwdsqb, [link=http://yhclgtkqyifs.com/]yhclgtkqyifs[/link], http://swztaortxduq.com/

Eh... any suggestions or any suggestions for creating a new sort of interface for comments?

I've been getting stuff like that through the interfce for ages. Luckily it's only occassional so I've just been ignoring it.

Urgh, yeah - I've been ignoring it too, though 50 or so msgs this morning? a bit too much, maybe.

Whoa! Yeah, that's a bit excessive. I get maybe three a week

I suggest adding a captcha - the code for that is easily available and it doesn't need much rearrangement of your old code.

Either that or a simple thing like "did you pass your maths?" (answer an addition with your message) work... I suggest looking in the plugins of a blog (wordpress, for example) and getting the small bit of code you need (unless you want to code it yourself...)

Heh, see - I prefer coding stuff myself LOL - but I'll dig around - mostly this came from a huge load of spam (rouhgly 50 messages) this morning.
