For those interested, my sister is a little better and is a rehabilitation facility where they specialize in cerebral haemorrhages and the retraining of the brain. She's still got problems with her short term memory, but her long term memory is as clear as ever.

Thanks to those of you who commented with well-wishes etc. I ♥ my flist.

I fucked up my left shoulder the other day. I had a massage therapy session on Saturday which worked wonders, but it won't go away from one session *sighs* so I occasionally down a painkiller, which isn't something I do an awful lot.

Seems we have another fannish get together in April *\0/*

I'm in Scotland in mid-May for yet another fannish get together *grins*

I have yet to order tickets for the summer hols.

I just checked my taxes and I'm due to get roughly 250 quid back at the end of March. That's never a bad thing.

I hate writing star trek fic. One little throw away comment and I spend half an hour sifting through information to figure out if what I just did is based on canon, fanon or something my brain just decided to cook up *cries* - not to mention I just passed 17.000 words and I'm maybe halfway/two thirds into the story? Spock's being a little bitch to write (he keeps finding reasons to doubt his attraction to Jim) - I could've done it from Kirk's POV which is easier for me, but it wouldn't be half the challenge, now would it? And it would give away far too much, far too early LOL - Also, I have an unhealthy amount of fun from creating Klingon names *g* and having Spock nervepinching horny Klingons (I fear my brain on pain killers - so should you!).

PS Where the hell did the weekend go?
