Simon, you sexy bastard...
I have learned truths tonight.
1. Duran Duran is even better live than on CD
2. Simon Le Bon is still one sexy, cheeky bastard *melts*

I came home this afternoon, a wee bit delayed, from a work-related party we went to yesterday. Was home for two minutes, grabbed tickets, changed shoes and bag and hauled arse out the door again *g*
See, today there was a charity concert hosted by Unicef. It had a lineup of a few Danish bands, but the really fantastic appearance? Duran Duran. I have to explain to you all that I grew up on Duran Duran because my sister used to listen to them. Of course, having two tickets I got from work that would let us in for free, I called my sister the other day and I don't think I needed the phone to actually hear her squee *g*
Right, so I got there, found my sister and we went in. The whole shebang had been a bit delayed by one of the bands (Saybia) whose plane had been delayed. Alas, they got it going, though they cut it short after 5-6 numbers because, as they said, they were only warm up *g*
What can I say? I used to love Duran Duran, but I adore the band now. It was a fantastic mixture of old and new material and the sound was good, the sun was shining, we were yelling our heads off, singing along. The boys were absolutely the most sexy thing up on that stage and although I didn't get all that close (I'm short, I get lost and squashed if I try to go down front XD) I still managed to take some pictures and enhance them so they should look good.
