Day trip - Fife Animal Park

Since Bex works @ the animal park as a volunteer - we went a day where she wasn't at work so she could enjoy it as well. And it meant going into the enclosure of the Lemurs and get to handle them - or get handled - as was the case with Chess - hand reared and people loving.


I can haz a lemur! (This is Chess - she's da boss)



Either Rita or Ricky - Bex would be able to tell *g*


Porcupine - prickly (huge) thing ^_^


White wallbies - which I've never seen before - proper albino ones as well - red eyes and all.


I iz working on my tan! Go 'way!


I've never seen a skunk this color - male one - and quite big.


Easiest bird picture ever! It did not move! Blinked once or twice, but that's it.


Because Bex was with us, we got to go behind the monkey cages - and get close to them - smelly but adorable *g*


nicci_mac getting mugged by Fang - who isn't hand reared and doesn't climb people nearly as much as Chess does... O.o - no he's not angry or upset - he's just not so good at chewing his grapes because of the one fang situation.


Oh dear LOL - this is Bex trying to keep one of the lemurs away from the box of grapes.

I love those porcupines! I've fed them peanuts in the shell at this animal park a couple of times, which they loved. We were buddies there for a while, *nods*. Until I ran out of peanuts.
