I know, wasn't it awesome? I loved the 100s of comics stories that they crammed into one little montage - wouldn't you love to have them make a series of films based on that?
Also, his crack team were great. Even though we only really saw them in snippets, it was obvious that they all contributed to the missions. So sad that they'd all be long buried once the Cap woke up :-(
I've actually had my mum nagging at me to find out when the Avengers film was going to be out (I dragged her to the first Iron Man with me, & she's been hooked ever since) & I was bouncing in my seat whooping in joy when we actually got a release date. And they're bringing in some of the characters that have only cameoed so far! Can't wait.
I know! At the moment we saw inside the prison cells of Red Skull's factory, I was bouncing up and down muttering 'Dougan!Dougan!Dougan!' under my breath LOL Because I remember Dougan from him working with Fury and Shield in the old comics *g* - and the crazy french guy who blows shite up \0/
