Lucy, I'm hoooo-ooooomeeeee
Sep. 24th, 2003 10:08 pmhello boys and girls... ::pauses, wonders if she's only got girls on her lj, shrugs and tries again::
Fellow obsessed individuals! ::better?::
I'm home... I get to sleep in my own bet tonight ^_^ -- not that I mind sleeping out, not at all. My little trip was fun, especially as my friends had added a cat to their little family ^_^ ::points at self:: I like cats... a LOT *g* -- got the scratches to prove it. I can't say no to a kitten who wants to play, even if she does bite a bit -- she's still cute as a button.
The couple I was staying with? Were good, even if they HAVE moved to the other end of the country (anyone who knows us KNOWS that Denmark is a HUGE country ^_~). We had fun. Drank coffee, watched movies, drank coffee, they dragged me along to their gospel choir -- we had lots of fun that night *g* -- I haven't done choir singing for around 10 years, but oddly it all comes back after some 5-10 mins. It was fun, energetic and I adore their teacher. Shorter than me (those who know me are gonna go 'that's not possible' but it IS), dark skinned, braided hair in black, brown and blonde and with personality and voice to equal ANYONE.
Then we went to have coffee with T's sister (beginning to see a pattern?) Home, coffee, movie. Up this morning and J and I went to find some place that served brunch. We're so utterly spoiled by having lived in Odense, since there you can get brunch every day. In this town? No way, most places only served that on Saturdays and Sundays... >_< -- but we DID find a place -- and boy oh boy was it GOOD! (of course served with coffee) -- went shopping a bit, then went to have an ice coffee *g*
Anyway, it was a blast. We had fun and I'm definitely going again ^_^
