Trekfic or just you know, writing!

As the subject line says, I think, for the first time in ages, I sat down and the words just flowed into the keyboard. I wrote around 1.300 words worth of fic and another three A4 pages of handwritten notes for the fic. Not only trek, but with PLOT! And I have to admit, half of those three pages of notes, are fully painted out scenes. Nicci, however, will attest to me being a bit of a masochist. Because I didn't choose to write from Kirk's POV (which would give away a lot more of the plot early - which in my POV makes it too easy), and I do feel very good about writing Kirk (let's not get into what that says about my personality and frame of mind XD).

Oh no, I have to sit down and decide to write from Spock's POV and since this is reboot. I have very little to base character/personality on, although there are distinctive differences between the TOS and the reboot/AOS versions and even though this bloody fic will be long, it'll also be a bit of a journey for me, as a character study. Did I mention I'm doing this as an action/adventure of Kirk, Spock and Bones (with a side of Kirk/Spock)?
If that makes sense LOL

I'm also working on a manip that will eat my brain - at least it allows me to explore and learn CS5 better XD (This is Nicci's fault, btw - she suggested a specific assesory to the image and didn't consider that I'd try to make it the HARD way XD)

Also, don't tell anyone, I haven't planned anything for this weekend, so hopefully it means I'll have two days to do some tidying of the flat and writing ^_^

Oh, and the good news is, my cold seems to be on the retreat ^_^ (unless it's reading my blog and then returns to take its revenge on me O.o)
