Fic announcements and an apology

Yeah, I'm still around, still alive, yadda-yadda-yadda.
Work's just still... yeah let's just say, term start may be over, but I'm hip deep in returns (sending unsold copies back to the publishers which is a fecking pain in the arse).
Do I get to do fannish shite? YES, damn it LOL - I just completely forgot to post it here! Maybe, because I'm having fun seeing just how much the X-men FC fandom flourishes on AO3 - and it does! I'm loving that, I mean, fic is posted en masse!
Also... erm... I may have been on the xmen kink meme... I may have made a fill - and tonight... I made a request post *laughs loudly* - This fandom will be my death and I shall go out with a bang and a huge grin on my face ^_~ - it also means I've had, and pardon the parlance, my meme cherry popped *g*
So, without further ado, I apologize for not actually making these announcements (to the what? three or so other people here who are into Charles/Erik fic? LOL).
Right, so - in case someone wants to fill it - I've put up this fill (yes, I know it's done anonymously, shut up LOL) - and I may be a bit high on coffee, though even that won't excuse the cracky request XD

Mutant School AU - modern day - in which the mutant fight for equality started earlier with Charles father on one side and Shaw on the other - today, however, with Shaw long dead, the Xaviers and the Brotherhood are laying down arms and agreeing to open a joint school that will help young mutants deal with their powers - offer them an education as well. Now, to balance it all out, of course Charles Xavier will be teaching, as well as Erik Lehnsherr - not the leaders of their groups, but high ranking personalities, they know OF each other, but have never actually met face to face - well, let's just say once they've met, you kinda have to feel sorry for the rest of the faculty not to mention the students.
I do intend to write more for it, but the parts are more or less stand alones

Erik's life suits him. It's quiet, simple and without any surprises. Acquiring a new friend turns all that upside down. (modern day AU)
This is me just... using this as an excuse to write - no, really - whenever I feel like I haven't got any other ideas, I sit down and plot and write on this one. I have no deadline on it, but I post as I go to keep going - it also means I have to challenge myself to be creative in case there's something I change my mind about, because I can't go back and edit it it.

That whole road-trip recruitment thing that Charles and Erik embarked on in the movie? I'm sure there were more than a few encounters we didn't see.
This is the one I had dubbed sex/porn marathon on my HDD LOL - I think I need something higher than NC17 to label this one LOL
Also, a friend and I seem to be doing a themed movie night once a month *g* - last time we did James McAvoy (and doesn't that sound deliciously dirty?) - which meant watching Atonement, Last King of Scotland and Wanted (I found Wanted delightfully silly! and erm... hot) - this weekend? We're doing Fassy *g* - so we're watching Hunger, Centurion and Inglorious Bastards - I'm actually getting to watch movies I might not otherwise have sat down and watched.
