Erik leaned against the open door, carefully not sighing out loud.
Unfortunately, his SO was a telepath and well attuned to Erik's moods. Charles turned from where he was speaking with the first batch of graduates from their school, shooting Erik a fond, knowing smile.
Grinning sharply, Erik didn't bother concealing the pride he felt for Charles achieving what he'd wanted for so long. What he'd worked so hard for.
"What we have worked so hard for."
Erik rolled his eyes, feigning indifference, accompanied by Charles laughter in his mind and his own projected accusations of Charles being a sap.
