Summary: Charles allows himself to think he can have his school after the sentinel debacle on the lawn of the White House. How wrong he is. And how wrong he is to think he can truly trust anyone.
Notes: Written for the X-men Reversebang of 2014/15 (Round 3). I was lucky (beyond words) to snag Shigai's artwork and she was happy with the ideas I threw at her (even if at times I had to keep saying "I normally write fluff!")
