Day 6
AKA January 1st, 2008

What do you think we were doing? Heh. Slept in and in the afternoon we went to Neil's side of the family for New Year's Day's dinner - it was nice although I have to admit I'd have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been motion sick from the drive there -- I can do planes and I'm okay in cars when I'm driving myself, but the second I'm the passenger? I get nauseous.

Right, well back home, we just relaxed and continued to get over New Year's Eve.

Day 7
AKA January 2nd, 2008

Nope, not much doing there either, except stumbling over the new TW trailer with boy snogging face sucking.

Day 8
AKA January 3rd, 2008

If we weren't doing anything on day 7, we sure did this day. We went into Edinburgh, after a little mishap of expecting the trains to go by normal times, so we had a bit of a delay getting there. [livejournal.com profile] nicci_mac, Becca and I went for a cup of coffee and a sandwich while we got a hold of [livejournal.com profile] catspaw_sgjd who was meeting us at the Royal Scottish Museum -- Walking up the street, we spotted a Forbidden Planet, which with a little nagging, I got them to agree on going to on the way back. There was a little ribbing about my Doctor Who obsession *g* It had started snowing when we left Dunfermline and by the time we got to Edinburgh, we were talking huge, wet flakes.

The museum was absolutely awesome -- and not the 2.99 hotdog awesome, but the AWEsome *g* -- That of course shows when you know I shot around 250 photos XD. It was great seeing [livejournal.com profile] catspaw_sgjd again and we were all nice, warm and dry inside while outside it snowed on and off.

Eventually, mid afternoon, [livejournal.com profile] catspaw_sgjd left us on our own. She had to get home by car and it kept snowing more and more. We do hope you got home alright, hon -- and if you want any of the photos from the gallery in full versions un-fiddled with, let me know.

On the way back we got something to eat and we went to the Forbidden Planet shop -- of course they didn't have the Doctor Who calendar I wanted *pouts* - but I ended up getting Becca two CLAMP mangas *eg*

So we went to the Princes Street Mall for dinner -- me and Becca had fish and chips mmmmmmmmmmmmm -- fab -- Nicci had some sort of weird looking wraps *g* -- Right after that, they decided we could go down to the St. James shopping center to see if we could find a. calendar b. DW series 2 on DVD. Yes, before you ask, I spent way too much money, but came home with two calendars and a box set XD

Day 9
AKA January 4th, 2008

Nice and easy day in, apart from a wee trip to get the post cards sent and to get me some Red Bull -- right, I can't get those in Denmark, so don't snort. Apart from that, we've only been going over all the photos from yesterday XD -- don't worry, I'm still going to do the 365 posting -- but I'm going to do it the way Nicci did it -- one post pr. week -- every sunday ^_^

Right, I just remembered, we watched Jools' Hootananny and there was way too much eye candy! Kylie (looking cute) John Simm (looking darned smexy) and David Tennant (swoons)!

I is too braindead to post what we actually did apart from drinking -- which explains the braindeadness...

Day 4

Right, you think we did much yesterday? *laughs*

I think not, my dear. -- We slept in, because we could, went to ASDA's to shop and then sat around just relaxing and having our ears blown out by Neil as he watched NFL -- not too bad I'd say, though as Nicci and I went upstairs later to write, I have to admit that I only got four paragraphs done one the Ianto-centric fic I got started -- seems I have trouble finding my muses these days. That said, Nicci switched to fiddling with HTML code for a photography site she'd like to upload and I think she managed just fine -- even considering she'd been drinking wine LOL

Right, so let's see how today turns out, shall we?

Happy New Year everyone -- take good care of yourselves and get safely into 2008.

Day 3

Right, so we've done nothing today but being online, watching TV and generally just relaxing. Oh, although, there was the moment's panic when Daniel (one of the guinea pigs) had a little trouble with a scratch under its chin -- we'll see how he's faring later.

So, now Nicci's making me an icon, possibly rude, that I'm not allowed to see yet, I played with the stuff below and now I'm going to update her webste *g*

Day 2:

I slept through the night like a rock -- although Nicci claims I was obviously dreaming, since I spoke in Danish and mentioned Ianto... I still claim it was not my fault -- it was hers for making a wallpaper with him and Jack in sexy versions last night. And besides, any dream involving Ianto has to be hot *eg*

So, today we went down to Dunfermline after having very late breakfast/lunch consisting of last night's chinese *g* and we took Becca along on the trip. Of course it decided to rain quite a bit, but we had a good time.

We went down into the Glen to take pictures and then afterwards, we went to the Abbey house to get hot chocolate and pig out. -- Right now we're drooling over Daniel Craig in Casino Royale -- yum *g*

So, there are more pictures *g*

Hello everyone,

Here I am, safe and more or less sound in Scotland. This is a recap of day one, although it's already day two. I was simply too knackered to do anything last night LOL

The image above leads to the photos shot day 1 -- just click it to get to the gallery.

Day 1 -- travel hell )

Oy, I never should have sat down and looked at the flight plans for december 27th -- I mean, I was good until I realized how far I'd have to go in Heathrow to get my connecting flight. I've never had to use a connecting flight! Maybe it's just me who's a wee bit nervous. I mean, I think I have enough time for the transfer, but according to the flight connection, they say I need at least 75 mins to get from terminal 4 to terminal 1 -- that's including the time it should take for me to get through security. I'm sheduled to have 100 mins between flights -- so yeah, maybe I'm just worried because I've never tried this before. I've always managed to catch direct flights before LOL

Am I unduly worried?
